Give the Gift of Help, Healing and Hope on Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday inspires millions around the world to unleash the power of their generosity to help others. The concept behind the movement is one that Real World Health Care and the HealthWell Foundation hold close to our collective hearts as part of our shared commitment to supporting patient communities.
This year, HealthWell is proud to celebrate 20 years of providing help, healing and hope by offering a financial lifeline to underinsured Americans to assist them in accessing critical, often lifesaving, medical treatments.
The financial assistance HealthWell provides to help patients afford lifesaving medications and treatments isn’t abstract or faceless. It is very real, as illustrated in our 20th Anniversary collection of patient stories. Inside, you’ll read words of thanks from a few of our grateful grant recipients whose lives were touched by HealthWell. Their stories are truly inspirational, and the Foundation is thankful for their willingness to share so others may know they are not alone.
I invite you to flip through the book to learn about children like Arielle and Joelle, who count on HealthWell for the medications they need to manage their cystic fibrosis. Laura shares how HealthWell helped her avoid being a financial drain on her parents as she battles a rare disease. Melissa thanks HealthWell for helping her afford her breast cancer medications. And Dennis talks about being cured of his Hepatitis C with the help of his HealthWell grant.
They are just a few of the over 900,000 patients and families HealthWell has been honored to serve over the last 20 years, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensure that no patient goes without health care because they cannot afford it.
You Can Help Support Patients in Need
HealthWell’s ability to assist patients in accessing and staying on their prescribed medical treatments would be impossible without the trust and support of our generous individual and corporate donors.
This Giving Tuesday, please consider helping people like Arielle and Joelle, Laura, Melissa, Dennis, and others by making a donation to HealthWell. We invite you to help spread the word about our life-changing, often lifesaving, work by sharing our message on social media. Visit us on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and X/Twitter.
